Ayurvedic Face Massage in Edinburgh
This treatment incorporates Ayurvedic principles and techniques into the traditional Reflexology treatment. The treatment is based on the theory that a map of the body is reflected on the face. Specific reflex points and marma points on the face, neck, ears and scalp will be gently massaged using sesame oil and a Kasa Wand (pictured on the right). A Kasa Wand is a smooth bronze bowl with a wooden handle which is said to assist with removing toxins from the body. This treatment may be beneficial for reducing stress, encouraging relaxation, smoothing out facial lines, reducing tension in the facial muscles and tissues and may help with localised issues such as headaches and sinus congestion.
